Story Town

In the Gardner/Edgerton school district, we use a basal reading program called Story Town. This program includes stories for the students, opportunities to work on reading skills, grammar work, spelling, and vocabulary words.  Each week, we will study a new story, incorporate 20 spelling words, and learn 7-10 vocabulary words.  Most of the time, our lesson/vocabulary test and spelling test will take place on Friday of each week.  Please check the homework tab frequently to see if anything in the schedule has changed.

SPELLING CITY: This is a great website to use to practice our spelling words for the week!  You can practice by playing games, taking a test, or using flash cards.  A nice way to break up the monotony of practicing spelling words over and over again.  Find the theme and lesson we are working on, click, and go!
